Richard Gordon is a husband, dad, pastor, technologist, and above all, a wholehearted lover of Jesus. He is married to his wife Libby, and together they are raising their three children — Moses, Ella-Rose, and Joshua. Richard lives with his family in Redding, California, where he serves as a senior leader and pastor at Bethel Church.

Born and raised in Durban, South Africa, Richard completed a BSc in Computer Engineering and an MA in Electronic Engineering, and has worked at senior levels alongside some of the world’s leading technology companies. Today, he continues to serve Bethel Church as Chief Technology Officer, carrying a unique calling at the intersection of faith, leadership, and innovation.

At the heart of Richard’s life and ministry is a passion for freedom — freedom from religion, freedom from striving, and freedom to encounter the reality of the Holy Spirit. He carries a deep burden to see people meet God not through performance or formulas, but through surrender and intimacy with Jesus. Over the years, this pursuit has been marked by countless testimonies of transformed lives, healings, prophetic encounters, and the tangible manifestation of God’s presence.

Richard is known for ministering with a rare combination of prophetic clarity, raw vulnerability, and deep humility. Whether speaking in churches, mentoring leaders, or walking alongside people one-on-one, his desire is always the same: to ignite what God has already placed inside people and help them step into the fullness of who they were created to be.

With a burning passion for revival, Richard carries an active global focus — particularly across the United States, Brazil, and Europe. His heart is to see nations awakened to the love and power of God, and to raise up world-changers who will shape culture, influence society, and carry the presence of Jesus wherever they go.

Above all else, Richard’s life message is simple: anointing is not earned through effort, but birthed through surrender — and revival begins with a heart fully yielded to God.
